In her own words:

Being a part of the Miss Santa Clarita Valley Program has been such an honor. For me it began 10 years ago when I competed for the first time, and I've been enthralled ever since. Over the last decade, I have competed 5 times, held 3 titles, emceed, directed, and even judged the pageant. Needless to say, this is a wonderful program that will enhance your life.

As a participant, you will grow as a woman, friend, role model, and community member. The pageant will help you to be more confident, outgoing, a better public speaker, and a much more active community member. Throughout the year we attend so many wonderful events, and help out some of the most worthy causes in our valley. It really makes you feel good to know that you are contributing to organizations that truly make a difference in peoples lives.

This program supports, builds, and maintains some of the most magnificent women in the Santa Clarita Valley. Every girl who enters does so because she wants to better herself, her community, and the life of others. The opportunities, lessons, and experiences that the program brings will stay with you for a lifetime.

To my fellow queenies; thank you for all the fun memories! This year has been so enjoyable with all of you at some unforgettable events.

Ms. Mardi; you are such an inspiration to all of us ladies. You are our role model, confidant, and friend. Having you in our lives is an honor and a blessing. You are truly the queen of our hearts.

To my family and friends; thank you for all of your unconditional love and support. I am always thankful that you let me be who I am, and love me anyways.

And to my beautiful daughter Brianna; thank you for being my little side kick at so many events. I hope you will someday look back at these pictures, and have learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community that we love so much. I owe all of this to you because it is you who inspires me to be a better person. I love you!
