In her own words:

Hi, my name is Jenna Dietrich and I am a current titleholder, Little Miss SCV First Princess. Not only have I done this Scholarship Program, but I am a straight A student at Arroyo Seco Jr. High, I dance at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy, I play basketball, and I also play piano.

When most people hear that I was in a pageant they think of a beauty pageant. This is not a beauty pageant. It is an excellent opportunity for ladies of all ages to help the community in a fun and exciting way.

This year has been so amazing. Thinking back to all of the rehearsals of walking, to the pageant, to now and knowing what I have accomplished is very gratifying. I don't think I would have made it through without Ms. Mardi. Thank you for helping all of us girls. We all appreciate it.

In my rein I have been to countless grand openings and Jazz Festivals. At grand openings we help the owners with anything they needed and also help in the ribbon cutting. At the Jazz Festivals we paint children's faces. All of these events are fun, but my favorites would have to be the Sheriffs Special Olympics Chili Cook off. We sold raffle tickets, painted children's faces, walked dogs that were up for adoption, judged the chili, and finally gave away the great prizes to the raffle winners. My next favorite would be the Fourth of July Parade when Audrey, Ashley, and I rode on the back of a car and waved to all the people of the Santa Clarita Valley.

I would like to thank Ms. Mardi again and all of the girls for their support. Any of these girls could make me smile and make my day. Last but definitely not least I would like to thank my family, friends, and my sponsors.
