In her own words:

Hello, I'm Treslei Rosale and I am 9 years old and in the 3rd grade. This is my first year having been involved with the Miss SCV Scholarship Program. It's been the most amazing experience ever, and the blessings are too many to count.

In this time I have learned the importance of community and community service. I have participated in all sorts of events such as The Relay For Life where we encourage people to write messages of strength and hope on a banner and helped to raise public awareness. We have presented medals at the Special Olympics Bowlathon while witnessing triumph by some pretty awesome people. We also did face painting for children at the Jazz Festivals and at the Sheriff's Chili Cookoff where we made so many children happy including my own sister and brothers. Participating in the 4th of July parade and the Newhall Christmas Parade will be memories that I will always cherish.

My two favorite events are; Snow Days at the Westfield Towncenter where we showed everyone how to make special kinds of snow and I was up on stage with my pageant sisters along with radio Disney stars! My other absolute favorite event was the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital tree lighting where we helped children write letters to Santa. The most special gift that I have received through all of this has been quality time with my mom and all the girls who have become so special to me. We are all part of the Miss SCV Program family. The relationships I have made have taught me so much and I appreciate each of them. I feel I'm the luckiest girl in the world and special in my own way.

I love who I have become in the Miss SCV Program. I am not the same little shy girl that I was, I have found a passion and I know that I can and will make a difference in the world one person at a time. I have learned about the kind of person I want to grow up to be, one who cares and helps those less fortunate. I would like to work with marine animals when I grow up too. My dream is to attend The University of Hawaii but for now I will stay grounded in the life of a third grader.

My hobbies are cheer and working with animals. I am also a brownie and of course, I enjoy hanging out with my friends. Ms. Mardi, I love you! Thank you so much for believing in me all the way. Also, thank you for all that you do for all of us girls and young ladies in general. Your strength, wisdom, caring and love for others and little critters has inspired me to follow my dreams and taught me to reach for the stars because nothing is out of my reach as long as I believe....

Hugs to all,

Little Miss SCV
